I decide to stroll down the grand Las Vegas Strip in order to receive everything this majestic city has to offer. I am greeted by magnificent hotels, casinos and shopping malls as I begin to feel at home within the City of Lights. That is exactly what I notice as I make my way through the city. In the gloomy pitch-black desert, Las Vegas sparkles like a newly shined gem, beckoning all to come claim their fortune for an evening in Vegas.
The towering structures and glittering lights are more than sufficient enough to impress any wandering traveler making his way through Las Vegas. However, something has an even greater impact on my attention as I am quickly seized by a single spectacle, the Bellagio Fountains. The glistening lights dance on the water, complimenting each other gracefully as they dance throughout the night. Despite the crowd slowly forming around them, they remain undaunted, like two lovers being reunited for the first time.
This is the single marvel which inspires me to catch this wondrous Evening in Vegas on canvas. It helps remind us that there is serene beauty in even the most bustling of places.

Robert Finale Biography

Born in 1966 in Sagua la Grande, Cuba, Robert Finale fled the communist nation with his family at the tender age of two for a life of freedom and opportunity in the United States. These early struggles and adversity taught Finale the value of hard work and discipline at a very young age.

Discovering his passion for art by the age of five, Finale was seldom without a pencil and sketchpad in hand, sketching everything from movie scenes to family vacation destinations. His mother lovingly cherished these early childhood sketches and encouraged Finale to keep and care for them, even throughout his early career as an electrician. It was many years later before Finale discovered his love, and natural talent, for brushing oil onto canvas. His very first painting was created as a gift for his wife Susie propelling Finale into the collected artist he is today.
